Working for the local community

Since it's formation over 30 years ago, Deveron District Age Concern has been there to support and help the local community. We are an independant registered charity (SC007671) for the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.

From our charity shop located in Macduff, we provide an important wide range of initial senior citizen signposting and information services, local community grants and donations. Despite our name we are not restricted by Age and our services are available to everyone.

Working with local groups such as Banffshire Partnership and Boyndie Trust we are able to provide community services such as our Lunch Club. We also work with the local hospital to provide discharge packs, and other local authorities to provide help for those in need.

Our Shop

Our Shop

There's always a large selection of quality donated goods on sale in our charity shop. Our dedicated volunteers will always make you feel welcome and there are often daily bargains to be had.

All income from the sale of goods after expenses goes back into the local community as grants and donations to deserving causes.
